Chantal is an illustrator who enjoys illustrating portraits, icons and other things that reflect her passion for travel, nature, history, fashion and cute vintage things in general. She also have a soft spot for fairytales and turn-of-the-century illustrations. She studied illustration at Parsons the New School for Design in NYC.
Chantal is the co-author and co-illustrator of the book The Chip Stand alongside her husband Joel Kimmel.
When not working she enjoys historical sewing, travelling, plein-air painting and hanging out with her husband and their beagles Spudd and Pistache.
She also enjoys printing her illustrations on her 1800 lbs. letterpress.
